November & December 2017 Highlights
11/4 Simmons Farm Day
Brothers picked pumpkins, rode tractors, went through a corn maze and enjoyed themselves at Simmons Farm to celebrate the fall season!
11/4 & 11/18 Global Links
Global Links is one of the places brothers volunteer regularly! The organization collects surplus materials from hospitals in the US, to be distributed to several of the poorest countries, who need them. The brothers helped with different tasks, one of them is to categorize and pack the items that would be sent.
11/17 Light Up Night
Brothers joined together to attended light up night in downtown
Pittsburgh. This event celebrates the beginning of the holiday season with good times, good music and beautiful lights!
11/29 Stack’d Karaoke Night
A group of brothers went to Stack’d for some half off quesadillas and a lot of karaoke. Renditions of the night included Megan and Deirdre performing Start of Something New from High School Musical, Brad and Emily performing Baby It’s Cold Outside, and Adam and Mark performing Summer Nights.
PI Soccer: The soccer team ended the regular season with an outstanding 4-1-1 record. For the first round of playoffs, they were able to recruit the likes of Donny “Can Score From” Deep and Andrew “Steel Curtain” Koryak. Unfortunately, it was not enough as they ended their season losing 3-1 in the match. They look forward to having a great season once again in the Spring.
12/2 Inductions Ceremony
We had 17 new brothers inducted into the fraternity this past weekend! Congratulations to the Beta Gamma class, Sarah Grudza (IA) and Jorge Garcia (IC)!
12/9 Secret Santa
Brothers got together the weekend before finals to get into the Christmas spirit!
Brothers listened to Christmas music, drank hot chocolate and exchanged presents at our fraternity’s first Secret Santa event!
